back to the ENT today, where she tried, usuccessfully to get some of the stuff out of the cyst. i almost passed out.
also, a month more of antibiotics. seems that they are very hesitant to cut these things out unless there is practically ZERO chance that there’s any infection, since that makes it hard to avoid cutting important things like nerves that go to my tongue. i can appreciate that, but i am very sad that i will have to have this dumb thing on my neck for 4 more weeks.

me too! it’s so frustrating that they know what it is, but can’t do anything about it yet.
Oh this stinks. I hope that stuff finally starts working…At least we can commiserate over taking antibiotics, which have totally had their fun with my intestines, let me tell you….blargh!
I’m with the others: those drugs better start doing their tricks!
Are there other things that can soothe your pain while the antibiotics do their work? Heat? Ice? A jaunty scarf?
